Betty Lou Mascho was born May 1, 1933 to John and Mattie Carter in Pampa, Texas. She departed this life June 30, 2022 at the age of 89 years.
Betty grew up in and around the Bristow area. In 1951, Betty Carter and Gary Mascho were united in marriage. Together, they raised their three children instilling in them the same work ethic and perseverance that carried them through. Betty was a loving wife and mother who not only tended to the house and family but helped with the many chores that came with farming and ranching. They enjoyed 35 years together before his passing. Betty was a member of the Church of Christ. She served her Lord and Savior faithfully. She loved being outdoors and taking in what nature had to offer whether it be the countless hours spent fishing or working on her gardening skills. Betty was sure to always make time for her family any time spent with them brought her great joy.
Betty is survived by her three children, Anita Bruce and Husband Steve of Farmington, Arkansas, Brian Mascho and wife Brenda of Coweta and April Wood and Husband Warren of Bristow; six grandchildren, Brian Mascho Jr and wife Alexandria, Bonnie King and husband Tyler, Becky Shofner and husband Travis, Olivia Toothman and husband Nathan, Jenny wood and Amanda Wood as well as eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and Husband Gary Mascho.
