Bennie Lee Stubblefield, a lifelong resident of Bristow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on October 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 2, 1940, to John and Mary Stubblefield, Bennie grew up in Bristow and graduated from Bristow High School in 1958.

On August 5, 1961, Bennie was united in marriage to Connie Hinshaw, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned over six decades. Together they raised four children: Sonia, Melissa, Bennie Lee Jr., and Bobbi, instilling in them the values of hard work, kindness, and family loyalty.

Bennie retired from Angus Measurement, where he worked in sales and built lasting relationships through his integrity and dedication. Outside of work, he found joy in simple pleasures—driving his tractor, tinkering with mechanics, collecting marbles, and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners football team.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Stubblefield; his children, Sonia Lane and husband Larry, Melissa Courtney and husband Jim, Bennie Lee Stubblefield Jr. and wife Maji, and Bobbi Hanks; his siblings, Roger Stubblefield, Betty Holbrook and husband Jerry, Barbara Sue McGuire and husband Kenny, and Dottie Gemmill and husband Wayne; eleven grandchildren—Kyle Lane, Laura Stubblefield, Kasey Lane,  Kathryn Blume, Rebecca Wright, Olson Stubblefield, Alicia McDowell, Krissa Lane, Annika Courtney, Ethan Stubblefield, and Addison Courtney; and twelve great-grandchildren—Cameron Richards, Braxton Lane, Peyton Lane, Cohltrane McDowell, Bentley Wright, Hunter Stubblefield, Gracie Lane, Annalise McDowell, Theodore Stubblefield, Myles McDowell, Emma Blume, and Jamison Stubblefield. He leaves behind a host of family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Stubblefield; his brother, John (Junior) Stubblefield; his son-in-law, Billy Hanks; and his sister-in-law, Darla Stubblefield.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Bristow City Cemetery.

Bennie will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for family, and the quiet strength he carried through life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
