Bennie Lopez Jr. was born June 26, 1948, to Bennie and Norma Lopez in Phoenix, Arizona.  He departed this life January 7, 2022, at the age of 73.

He spent his youth in Arizona and later moved to Oklahoma where he met the love of his life.  On September 9, 1983, Bennie Lopez Jr. and Sylvia Moore were united in marriage.  They enjoyed thirty-three years together before her passing November 6, 2016.

Benny worked for the city of Bristow public works department.  He retired after thirteen years of service.  After many prayers from his family Benny received the Lord as his savior in 2014.  He was faithful to attend church until his health prevented him from getting out much.

When time allowed him, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with Carl, Benny, and Gary Lee.  He adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.  He will be missed by all who knew.

He is survived by two daughters, Holly and Sonia Williams; ten grandchildren, Brittney, Shana, Norma, Gary, Benny, Sylvia, Star, Aujalee, Corey, and Daniel; seven great grandchildren, Kynten, Bexley, Daxtyn, Tysen, Meeya, Jaxsin, and Aleeya.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers Johnny and David Lopez.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, January 14, 2022, with Pastor Douglas Meadow officiating.  Interment will follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
