April Nicole Woodard was born June 25, 1989, to Gwennetta Skaggs-Colley in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She departed this life October 9, 2025 at the age of thirty-six years.

April grew up in and around the Kiefer and Sapulpa areas. She was a 2008 graduate of Kiefer High School where she absolutely loved to cheer. April found her calling in the medical field working as both a Certified Nurse Aide and a Medical Assistant; she truly loved what she did. April had a servant's heart. She gave 100% when caring for others and often put them before herself; especially her family. April was ornery but honest about it, you always knew where she stood and never had to wonder.  April's great sense of humor and overall cheerfulness brightened the darkest of days. She loved vacationing and spending time with her children; they were always her happy place.  Beach or lake? It didn't matter, she loved the water and being near it.

April is survived by her mom, Gwennetta Skaggs-Colley and dad, Larry Colley; one daughter, Kori Berlyn Sanders; two sons, Jose Alvarado and Liam Alvarado; longtime partner Joe Alvarado and eight siblings, Carolyn Pickering, Tiffany Skaggs, Skyla Skaggs, John Tramel, Jason Knight, Cayenne Nauss, Cary Colley and Cody Lee; aunt, Tammy Ferguson; uncle, Wesley Willey and extended family Josh and Terria Sanders, as well as a host of other family and friends and her beloved dog, Daisy. She was preceded in death by her Nana, Carolyn Willey; Niece Lacy Krause and beloved pet Willie Nelson.
