Anthony Duane Cates, 69, passed on October 29, 2021. He was born to Richard Jerrilee Cates and Dorothy May Cates in Lompoc, California on February 24, 1952. He graduated from Ripley High School and served his country in the United States Air Force. Anthony drove Trucks for Don Newton Trucking and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. He loved driving his truck, and when he wasn't working you could find him playing bingo. When he was feeling up to it, he really enjoyed being outdoors and working in his yard. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cates; five children, his son Duane R. Cates, Crystal Dawn Cates, Jackie Renee Cates, Melonie Ann Cates, and Lisa Booth; sister Rebecca McIntire and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and his brother Richard J. Cates. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, 10:00 AM at the Cushing Christian Church in Cushing, Oklahoma.
