Angel Jean Cress was born June 19, 1934, to Clyde and Helen "Peters" Brandenburg in Cincinnati, Ohio. She departed this life on October 2, 2024, at the age of 90 years.

Angel had driven a truck for many years, allowing her to live in many different states, including California, Indiana, Missouri and Oklahoma. She was a member of the Cushing Christian Church. She enjoyed quilting, riding horses, barrel racing and loved to bedazzle her belts and cowboy hats. She had also served as President of the American Legion.

Survivors include her brother, Larry Brandenburg; grandchildren, Vanessa Sala, Christina Cress, John B. Cress and Justin Cress; great-grandchildren, Blake, Noah, Kensley and Jimmy Jr. and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Angel was preceded in death by son, John Cress; daughter-in-law, Tracy Cress and great-grandson, Kason Sala.

A private family celebration will be held at a later time.
