Alvis Levi Robinson was born on January 23, 1933 to Alvis Levi Robinson and Margaret June "Lumpkin" Robinson in Oklahoma City. He departed this life on December 11, 2022 in Cushing at the age of 89 years.

Alvis was drafted by the United States Army following high school; he returned from Germany on November 1 and was united in marriage to Doris Ann Jackson on December 24, 1955. To this union three children, Darla, Stephen and Daniel, were born.

Alvis was a member of the Church of the Firstborn; some of their fondest memories were traveling back and forth with their church family from California and Oklahoma.

Alvis enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids; watching television; working crossword puzzles; playing card games and scrabble and he especially liked driving and working on his trucks.

Survivors include his wife, Doris, of almost 67 years; his daughter, Darla Bowling and husband, Danny, of Stillwater; seven grandchildren, Andrea Robinson, Amanda Slavens and husband, Chris, Bryan Robinson, Daniel Ducic, Jodi Hatter and husband, Wayne, Michael Brown and Dana Carroll and husband Brian; twenty-one great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Alvis was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen and Daniel Robinson and seven siblings.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parkland Cemetery.
