Alfred Ray Phillippe was born July 9, 1948 to Henry and Elouise Phillippe in Bristow, Oklahoma. He departed this life June 25, 2024 at the age of 75 years.
Alfred grew up in and around the Bristow area attending Bristow Schools. He was a 1966 graduate. January of 1968, Alfred was drafted into the United States Army. He was honorably discharged after serving his country faithfully in Vietnam. Returning to Bristow, Alfred was active with both the American Legion and VFW as well as the Elks. Though quiet, He loved visiting with people when out in town. Afternoons and evenings at home found him reading books and working puzzles. He was a great husband who loved his family deeply and could keep you laughing with returned witty banter. Alfred gave twenty-one years to Sagebrush in Tulsa handling both inspections and shipping before retiring.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 40 plus years, Jenetta of the home; two sons, Brent Phillippe and family of Broken Arrow and Levi Phillippe of Norwalk, Connecticut; stepdaughter, Amanda McManigal of Bristow; two sisters, Barbara Phillippe and Peggy Roark and family of Bartlesville; one Uncle Ray Keith of Bristow; three grandchildren, Tucker Phillippe, Grace Phillippe and Morgan Phillippe. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jesse
