Obituary

Alfred Albert Havener was born February 10, 1938 to William and Bonnie Havener in San Jose, California.  He departed this life July 4, 2026 at the age of eighty-eight years.

Alfred, nearly a lifelong resident of Bristow, went to work at an early age.  He served two terms of enlistment with the Army National Guard giving him eight years of service.  He was always ready to answer the nation's call any given moment.  He made a life for his family, giving many years as a steel worker with Riverside industries.  Albert was an excellent gardener, planting sometimes as many as two acres of potatoes.  His daughters Pat and Kathy often helped with harvesting and was rewarded with a day of swimming.  Alfred and his wife, Deborah shared forty-six years of marriage.  They often attended church as members of the Oak Street Church of God.  Alfred had many fishing stories he would tell anyone that listened.  Fishing was his favorite pass time.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Deborah of Bristow; daughter, Pat Honeycutt and husband Roger of Eufaula; son in law, Edward Davidson; two sisters, Mary Scholten of Enid and Dorothy Brown of Kellyville; three grandchildren, Kim Baker and husband Bernard of Grove, Tiffany Honeycutt of Bristow, and Roger Honeycutt Jr. and wife Crystal of Billings, Montana as well as eight great grandchildren.
