Obituary

Alfred L. Dupus, born July 23, 1938, in Helena, Oklahoma, to Edwin and Elisabeth Dupus, departed this life on October 13, 2026, at the age of 88.

Alfred grew up with a strong work ethic and a love for learning, graduating from Tulsa Webster High School. On September 12, 1956, he married the love of his life, Anna Marie Lowery. Together they built a beautiful family and shared 49 years of marriage before her passing on December 31, 2005. From their union came five children: Cynthia, Donald, William, Beth, and John.

Alfred dedicated over 29 years to American Airlines, where he served as an aircraft mechanic. He took great pride in his work, known for his precision, reliability, and commitment to safety. Outside of his career, Alfred found joy in the outdoors. He loved gardening, fishing, hiking, camping, and canoeing—activities that reflected his appreciation for nature and quiet moments of peace.

He is survived by four children: Cynthia Niccum and husband Paul, William Dupus and wife Delilah, Beth Ferguson and husband John, and John Dupus.

He leaves behind a large and loving family of grandchildren: Alan Goodman and wife Shelle, Sharon Edmonds and husband Steve, Marie Martin and husband Jake, Amie Schneider, Yolanda Baker and husband Daniel, Levi Cole and wife Tessie, Indy Cole and wife Kristin, Jacob Ferguson, Christopher Dupus and wife Moriah, Matthew Dupus and wife Morgan, Isaiah Dupus, Josiah Dupus, and Samuel Dupus.
