Larry Dale Bondurant, longtime Cushing resident, passed away Friday morning, July 20, 2018 at the age of 68 years. The son of Dale Porter Bondurant and LaRue Edrington Bondurant, Larry was born on July 7, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended school in Cushing, graduating from CHS in 1968. Larry attended Phillips University and the University of Oklahoma, and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He was president of the Junior High Student Council, and lifelong member of the First Christian Church, a Boy Scout, and had a band for a few years. While a resident of Linwood Village, he served several terms as president of the resident organization. Larry enjoyed music, movies, watching college football and politics. He is survived by his mother, LaRue Bondurant of Cushing; one brother David Bondurant and his wife Rex Ann of Gladewater, Texas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Bondurant and one sister Janice Winn. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jim Wilhelm officiating.
