Jim Lewis, retired Division Engineer for the Dept. of Transportation of Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007 in Tulsa at the age of 78 years.     The son of the late James Lewis and Mary Etta Wright Lewis, Jim was born on July 30, 1928 in Tryon, OK and was reared and educated in Tryon.     He was united in marriage to Lois Oldfield on Sept. 10, 1950 and to this union two children, Jan and Jay were born.     Jim enjoyed life very much and will be missed by all that knew him.     Survivors include his wife of over 57 years, Lois; one daughter Jan Lewis of Sand Springs, OK; one son Jay Lewis and his wife Vera of Denver, CO; one grandchild, Eirin Lewis of Conway, AR, and other relatives and friends.     Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 14, at 10 A.M. in the Tryon Cemetery.     The family will greet friends at the Funeral Home on Friday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
