Jesse Kimmel, son of Mike and Michelle Kimmel, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Cushing at the age of 38 years. Jesse was born July 17, 1978 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and received his early education in Shawnee, coming to Cushing in 1993, attending Cushing High School. He worked for the Lloyd E. Rader Center in Sand Springs for over 11 years, and the past several years worked for Vince Myers Welding and Construction. Jesse loved the outdoors, fishing, grilling and hanging out with his friends. Surviving include his parents, Mike and Dr. Michelle Kimmel of Cushing; one son Jacob Kimmel of the home; one brother Ben Kimmel; his maternal grandparents, Susan and Wes Hamilton and Edwin and Ruth McGrew; one nephew Landon Kimmel; one niece Lauren Kimmel; a sister-in-law Jody Ladd; several aunts and uncles, the White/Goad Family and other relatives and friends. A celebration of Life will be held Monday, September 26, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Phillip Swisher officiating.
