Cheryl Taber, lifelong Cushing resident, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the age of 65 years. The daughter of Bill Exton and Mildred Louise Holland Exton, Cheryl was born on February 7, 1955 in Cushing and was raised and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School. She was united in marriage to Mark Taber on January 26, 1980 and to this union three children, Amber, Chad and Thomas was born. Cheryl enjoyed arts and crafts; painting; playing solitaire; watching science fiction movies and space shows; spending time with her family and friends, especially her 6 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Mark of the home; her father, Bill Exton of Cushing; her children, Amber Babcock and her husband Brian of Sapulpa, Chad Taber and his wife Laurel of Cushing and Thomas Taber of Cushing; 6 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Louise Mustain and two brothers, Carl and Chuck Exton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
